Forever Christmas Greenery

As soon as I saw the Forever Greenery Suite I fell in love with it. Green is such a great color and Stampin’ Up! has some awesome greens in their color collections.

I quickly realized that this suite has usability far beyond summer greenery. With just a few changes in the color scheme it quickly and easily transitions to fall and even winter!

Here I’ve used the suite to create a Christmas themed card. The greens I used are the cool and wintery soft seafoam and shaded spruce. The background layer is a piece of cherry cobbler card stock run through one of the suite’s mini embossing folders that happens to look a lot like cable knit from a winter sweater.

The soft seafoam pieces were cut with the forever flourishing dies in the bundle and then embossed by swiping the versamark pad across the edges and dipping them in gold powder before heat setting. On top of that is an element from the forever gold die cut paper, just flipped over to the white side.

I stamped a greeting from the forever fern stamp set and embossed in gold. Then I surrounded it with shaded spruce pieces and embellished with a few red rhinestones. Isn’t this suite so amazingly versatile for all seasons??!!
