Feels like frost and Perfectly Plaid

For the month of November I will be posting twice per week: once Wednesday and once Saturday. The Wednesday posts will be of my own creations and the Saturday posts will be cards I received in “swaps” with fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Today’s project is my own design. I wanted to use traditional motifs (evergreens) but in a non-traditional color scheme (green, pink, gray/silver). It features the Perfectly Plaid Bundle of stamps and punch, which cut out these cute little evergreen trees. I combined this with the silver metallic side of the feels like frost DSP and some additional embellishments. Read on for more details.

Look at all the cute tree stamps included in this set, from realistic to stylized. I chose to stamp the stylized outline in versamark and heat emboss in silver on call me clover cardstock to complement the Feels like Frost DSP, which I colored in call me clover with an aqua painter.  Then I stamped the same stylized tree image in basic gray on the card base.

Then I finished up by applying some enamel dots to one of the trees in lovely lipstick and pineapple punch.20191117_001505_0000
