Sweet and Elegant

I created this card for the birthday of a sweet friend. I wanted it to be soft and pretty and elegant but not over the top. So I used peachy colors instead of pinks and went for vanilla base instead of bright white.  I think it would also work beautifully for anniversary, wedding, or even Valentine’s day.

There is not much stamping involved in this card. I really let the beautiful designer series paper do the work here. Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade, delightfully detailed, tea room ribbon, grosgrain ribbon, grapefruit grove and very vanilla cardstock and sentiment from Balloon celebration

Thanks to the perfect coordination of Stampin Up products I could pull the exact perfect color of cardstock to highlight the colors in the designer series paper. Let’s zoom in on the sentiment. It comes from the Balloon Celebration stamp set. I love the casual, connected script font.

You’re also getting a good look at the oval lace frame. No punches or dies are needed to produce this! We have two specialty laser cut designer series paper packs. This piece comes from the one called delightfully detailed and the other is called beautifully detailed.

I used the same color ribbons as the cardstock used to pull the whole thing together. Check out the shopping list below for everything I used to create this card.
